Battle of the Books

5th Grade Battle of the Books is a reading competition open to any 5th graders who live in Bruce Township, the Village of Romeo, or Washington Township, or attend a school within those boundaries.
5th Graders come together in teams of 3-5 members, read the 10 books that are selected by the librarians, and then answer 50 questions about those books at the official Battle. Teams can register by completing the registration form and turning it in at the Youth Desk at the Graubner Library.
The Battle will take place on Saturday, March 9th at 10am at the Graubner Library.

The Romeo District Library has subscribed to a fun, new reading program that parents and young children can access from home. BookFlix pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning. This engaging resource for children in grades PreK-3 will help early readers develop and practice essential reading skills and introduces students to a world of knowledge and exploration.
